Jay Jacobson

Biography: EDEN Multifamily Mr. Jacobson is the President/CEO of EDEN Multifamily , a regional multifamily development and investment company based in Coconut Grove Florida. EDEN is actively developing throughout South Florida and is investing in apartment communities throughout the SE United States. EDEN is partnered with a number of private equity groups including Cypress Equity Investments of Los Angeles and Florida Value Partners of Miami. Previously Mr. Jacobson was the President of Stiles Residential Group in Fort Lauderdale. Prior to that he was with Wood Partners as the Development Partner in charge of the South Florida division. In addition to his duties as partner of the South Florida operation, Mr. Jacobson was also the National Partner in charge of Acquisition activities throughout the United States. Previously, Mr. Jacobson served as the Director of Multi-Family investments of Archon Group L.P., the real estate investment management group of Goldman Sachs, (NYSE:GS) overseeing the asset management and investment activities of a multi billion dollar portfolio of multi family investments comprised of approximately 27,133 units. Mr. Jacobson was also responsible for Archon’s multi family investment activities representing the multi billion dollar Whitehall Funds and The Goldman Sachs Core + Realty Fund. Prior to joining Archon, Mr. Jacobson was a Managing Director of Archstone Communities Trust, (now Archstone-Smith)( NYSE:ASN) the 3rd largest multi family real estate investment trust in the United States. Mr. Jacobson graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Architecture Degree. He received a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado.
