JOHN JUGL, Jr. Senior Managing Director Co-Lead Denver Investment Sales +1 303 515 8018 [email protected] John is a Senior Managing Director and co-lead of HFF’s Denver Institutional Investment Sales team, acting as an advisor and intermediary in the sale of institutional office, industrial and retail investment properties across the United States. A 13 year veteran in the commercial real estate industry, he has completed more than 10 million square feet of investment sales transactions – valued at more than $2 billion – and advised on more than 20 million square feet of capital market real estate strategies for corporate users such as Computer Sciences Corporation, Equinix, Gilead, Hewlett Packard, HSBC, Silicon Graphics and UnitedHealth Group among others. His expertise spans real estate as well as credit markets, and particularly includes sorting through the perceived risk associated with tenant credit and lease term issues. Through understanding the requirements of various debt and equity funding sources, he advises and transacts on real estate strategies that maximize client returns. His past assignments have included multi-tenant and net-lease investment sales, vacant asset dispositions, corporate acquisitions, sale leasebacks and build-to-suits as well as complex debt and equity real estate restructurings. As Co-Lead of the Denver Investment Sales team for Jones Lang LaSalle, John and his partner, Mary Sullivan, built a market leading position with more than $600 million in transactions over a 2 year period. As a Principal at Liberty-Greenfield LLLP, a Denver-based corporate real estate advisory firm, he developed an analytical framework for evaluating and implementing real estate recapitalizations, with a focus on serving the unique needs corporate users.
