LB Johnson

Biography: Serving as Vice President of Real Estate, Design and Portfolio Management – LB Johnson leads the organization responsible for Walmart’s expansion in retail stores, distribution centers, and eCommerce fulfillment networks. He oversees annual deployment of $2.5B in capital allocation to real estate investments across the country. LB compels his teams to approach the real estate business with a portfolio mindset and support U.S. Store Operations as the single point of contact into the Realty division. More recently, LB serves on Walmart’s International Executive committee responsible for global strategy and implementation of technology enhancements to world-wide Realty systems and processes. Prior to joining Walmart, LB was based in Dallas, TX directing teams in Mergers & Acquisitions, Development Finance and Real Estate Development for Blockbuster Video Inc. Since joining Walmart in 2005, LB has been a trailblazer in navigating complicated developments in complex markets and providing thought leadership throughout the evolution of Walmart Realty’s “bricks and clicks” integration strategies.
