Lynn Jerath

Biography:
Lynn is a sophisticated real estate investment professional, committed philanthropist and active community leader. Citrine Investment Group is an institutional real estate investment manager that invests in multiple asset classes across the United States, while igniting positive change for people and the planet. Lynn has a 30-year track record executing $10 billion in transactions at Goldman Sachs, the Carlyle Group and GEM Realty Capital. Lynn also created a $100 million opportunity zone industrial fund and ran a real estate hedge fund. Her expertise covers complex joint ventures with operating partners, direct purchases, operation and sales of real estate, public market transactions, debt purchases, structured finance transactions and more. Lynn has experience across virtually all property types. Lynn’s professional expertise, unique perspective and holistic approach make her a sought-after and transformative leader. Lynn joined the Board of Directors of Monroe Capital Corporation ("MRCC") in December 2024. MRCC is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified management investment company that is publicly traded on the NASDAQ. She is on the Advisory Board of Sundance Bay, a Utah-based real estate investment company and served on the board of Lotus Bancorp for ten years until its sale. Lynn is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute, formerly the Chair of the Urban Development and Mixed-Use Purple Council and a member of the ULI Health Leaders Initiative. Lynn is a Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania. Deeply committed to the University, she is also a member of the Penn Endowment Investment Board, Penn Live Arts and Trustees Council of Penn Women. Lynn graduated magna cum laude from Wharton in 1995. Lynn also serves on boards committed to equaling the education playing field for those living in disinvested communities including Embarc, where she is Board Chair, and Hope Chicago. She is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Club. She previously served on the boards of the National Poetry Foundation and Chicago Furniture Bank. She is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Club. Lynn lives in Lincoln Park with her husband and dog Riley.
