Biography:
Mr. Ludeman is President of Global Capital Markets for CBRE. In these roles he is responsible for the company’s investment sales, debt & structured finance and investment banking businesses globally. In 2012, CBRE Global Capital Markets was the intermediary for nearly $130 Billion in capital transactions. Also reporting to Ludeman is the firms’ retail business in the Americas. He serves as a member of CBRE’s Global Operating Committee and the Americas Operations Management Board. Mr. Ludeman began his career with CBRE as a sales trainee. During his 30 years with CBRE, Mr. Ludeman has served in a variety of management roles, including President, Brokerage, Transaction Management and Global Corporate Services. In these roles Mr. Ludeman has at different times been responsible for all transaction units, including Brokerage in the Americas, as well as the Corporate Services platform, including facilities management, project management, lease administration, transaction management and research and consulting. Mr. Ludeman joined then Coldwell Banker (now CBRE) in 1980 as a trainee; was an industrial broker in Los Angeles until 1993; managing director of the Phoenix office until 1994; Executive Managing Officer for the Mid-Atlantic until 1997, Group Executive Managing Director Northeastern and Southern California Region from 1998 through 1999; President of Brokerage in 1999, President Transaction Management and Global Corporate Services 2000. Retired from the firm in 2001 and returned in 2004 as President of Brokerage. Assumed leadership of Americas Capital Markets in 2011 and Global Capital Markets in 2012.
