Gustavo Langoni
Biography: I am a geotechnical department manager for ECS with over 20 years of experience assisting developers and engineering professionals during the land acquisition, design, and construction stages of a project. I have been fortunate in my capacity to work as a geotechnical engineer on signature projects such as the Port of Miami Tunnel connecting Dodge Island to SR A1A, One Brickell in downtown Miami, the Fontainbleau Las Vegas (tallest tower in Las Vegas); and internationally on the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal in Panama City, the Torre Reforma Colón Development (including what is slated to be the tallest tower in Mexico City post-construction), and the Talara Refinery Modernization Project in Peru. Focusing on such a specialized subject of the land development process, I am interested in learning about all other aspects of land development from the beginning stages to the delivery of a project. Subjects such as conceptualization, financing, selecting the correct team, risk management, and program management are of interest to me. Having participated in the 2022 leadership institute program, I believe ULI is the right organization for individuals passionate about land development who want to surround themselves with like-minded individuals.
