Build Like a Girl has earned two Triangle MAME awards for Best Social Media by a Company. Building Women Magazine, June 2014 Published feature article, ‘Succeed Like a Girl’ based on the story behind my blog, Build Like a Girl. Builder, 2015 Miracle Home for the MIX101.5 Radiothon to benefit Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center. In the largest single pledge to date, Garman Homes along with our sibling company, Better Homes & Gardens Go Realty pledged $200,000 as the Miracle Home Sponsor. Proceeds from the sale of the Miracle Home, as well as sponsored events and fundraisers throughout 2014 were used to reach our pledge amount of $200k. The 2015 Miracle Home won GOLD at the 2014 Parade of Homes through the HBA of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties. The 2015 Miracle Home won a Triangle MAME award in 2015 for Best Custom Plan. The 2015 Miracle Home was featured in the March 2015 issue of Chapel Hill Magazine. The buyers were profiled alongside our design and inspiration.
