Alexandra Monjar

Project Manager/Property Development
Capital City Development Corp.
Biography:
I believe that our built environment is a product of what we value as a community. Boise, Idaho has a lot of fantastic public spaces, and I’m thrilled to be in a place where I can work with developers to support the creation of more places that reflect the best parts of Boise—our kindness, entrepreneurial creativity, and respect for the natural world. As CCDC’s project manager in property development, I collaborate with private entities to ensure Boise’s built environment is attractive, accessible, and sustainable. Before joining CCDC, I was manager of ULI Idaho. It was a perfect training ground for my current role, as I brought together developers, government agencies, and individuals to share best practices and build thriving communities. My previous experience also includes stints with Idaho Smart Growth, PCS Edventures (a STEM education company), and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. I earned my bachelor’s degree in arts administration (cum laude) from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah. I hold a certificate in commercial real estate from eCornell and have taken courses from ULI Learning in project finance and construction. My hobbies include getting outdoors on a mountain bike or stand-up paddle board in the summer, skiing in winter, and being a YIMBY (by supporting local housing projects in public meetings and advocating for zoning reform). I also foster orphan kittens and am learning how to keep house plants alive. Member Directory  Arrow
