Biography:

Dave Martin has almost forty years of real estate and capital markets experience. Dave is based in Denver, Colorado and is the Regional Managing Director - Investment Sales in Northmarq's Denver Office. As such, he was responsible for client relationships, market research and multi-family investment sales in the region. Over the past fifteen years, Dave has executed the sales and recapitalizations of over $8 billion of multi-family assets. Previously, Dave was an acquisitions partner with Lincoln Property Company in Dallas, Texas where responsible for multifamily acquisitions in the southwestern U.S. Prior to his time with Lincoln, Dave was a lead banker in Nomura Asset Capital Corp’s Dallas, Texas office, which he opened and staffed, and where he structured and funded in excess of $1.2 billion in CMBS perm debt, preferred equity, construction/perm, and mezzanine debt products for commercial and residential real estate properties. Dave began his career in 1986 with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company’s Real Estate Investments Department, and held a number of positions during his 11 year tenure – including two-year assignments in both London, England and MetLife’s Real Estate Investment Committee operation in Atlanta, Georgia. Dave earned an undergraduate degree in finance from Texas A&M University in May 1986, and obtained a Graduate Certificate in finance from Southern Methodist University in May 1997. Member Directory
