Jacinta McCann
Biography: Jacinta McCann Executive Vice President AECOM Jacinta is AECOM’s Buildings and Places practice leader for Design, Planning and Economics in the Americas. She has worked for over 35 years to enhance the quality of cities and communities around the globe with a focus on placemaking. Originally from Sydney, Australia, and trained as a landscape architect, Jacinta works at all scales from site to regional, and across market sectors including Cities, Commercial, Corporate, Sports, Leisure and Culture and Transportation. Jacinta is a noted collaborator and advocate for design excellence and sustainability. Jacinta has been recognized as a creative leader in her field and is sought-out as a speaker and panel participant in interdisciplinary workshops addressing complex land use, environmental, and socio-economic challenges. Sustainability is embedded in her work as the foundation to the planning and design process. Jacinta has lectured extensively at universities and institutions in the United States, Asia and Australia. She has developed innovative site plans and sustainability strategies for numerous institutional and medical campuses and is the recipient of many industry association awards for her work.
