Biography:
Jeff McQueen is the Executive Vice President for Shea Homes Active Lifestyle Communities. Jeff co-founded Shea’s Active Lifestyle Communities, a division within Shea Homes that acquires, develops and builds active adult communities on a national scale. Since its inception 12 years ago, Shea Homes and the Trilogy brand have become nationally recognized leaders in the active adult space. Under Jeff’s leadership, the Company has grown from a single project in 1999 to Shea Home’s largest and most profitable homebuilding business, generating 2,000 annual home closings, $1 billion in annual revenues and spanning 5 states. During this time, Jeff has been intimately involved in leading all aspects of the business and fulfilled the roles of Executive Vice President/COO, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Acquisitions. Under Jeff’s leadership, Trilogy has been recognized as a leader in innovation and service. Trilogy has been at the forefront of production builders providing Green housing and was the first national production builder to offer solar included in all new homes. Further, Trilogy has been awarded the #1 national J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction ranking for the last three years in the Lifestyle category. Jeff has been directly involved in $2.1 billion in land acquisitions consisting of approximately 41,000 lots and including pro forma revenues of $11.6 billion. Jeff was a founding team member of Shea Capital; a $1.2 billion institutional equity fund with CalPERS and co-led negotiations for the fund. Jeff also co-led the sourcing of $1.6 billion in new debt originations including two large Wall Street rated syndications. Additionally, Jeff has led numerous other debt originations including both public and private totaling $330 million as well as sourced and led negotiations on several large private equity joint ventures to acquire new projects.
