Biography: JEREMY MALONE, VICE PRESIDENT Jeremy has over 30 years' experience in commercial real estate development from assembly of property, public input, design, financing, construction, tenant improvements and delivery of projects, primarily within downtowns. In addition to private development for his form and clients, he has been successful in working with public private partnerships to provide maximum value to both the public and private entities from creative financing options, public meetings and input, and efficient design and construction for best project outcomes for all parties and neighbors involved. Successful development projects include: THE ARTHUR, Boise, Idaho. A 26-story, 298 unit multifamily project in downtown Boise to include 331 parking spaces, 350 bicycle parking stalls, and 9,000 square feet of retail. Construction commenced in late 2022 with anticipated completion in December 2024. This is Boise's first high-rise multifamily project and will have the highest finish floor in Idaho. This architectural masterpiece has transformed the Boise skyline. BLAINE COUNTY MASTERPLAN AND DEVELOPMENT, Blaine County, Idaho. A 227-acres greenfield development in Hailey and Bellevue, Idaho, near the resort town of Sun Valley. Land acquisition occurred in 2022 with construction anticipated to commence in summer of 2025. Phase I of the development will include 465 multifamily apartments, of which 165 will be low income housing serving residents with 60% AMI or less, 25 acres of open space and ball fields in collaboration with Blaine County Recreation District, a 110 room hotel, and 200,000 square feet of storage and light industrial space. SPARROW HOTEL, Boise, Idaho. A complete renovation of a 61 room motel transitioned into a 68 room boutique hotel in the core of Boise. Negotiated a multi-decade ground lease with direct oversight and involvement in the architectural modernization of a 50-year old project. Development included the addition of a coffee bar, permanent food truck vendor (located in a remodeled Airstream trailer) and public patio plaza for guests and public to enjoy. IDAHO FALLS MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Worked with Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency to assemble parcel from private owner. Selected via a RFP process to be developer of site. Creation of master plan of mixed use project to include retail, office, public plaza and parking garage. TREASURE VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Caldwell, Idaho. As a developer for Caldwell East Urban Renewal Agency, successful design and development of project within a ten-month time frame for commencement of Treasure Valley Community College classes. In addition to development services, Oppenheimer Development Corporation initially financed the project for the Agency with a buy-back component. CITY OF CALDWELL DOWNTOWN FRAMEWORK MASTER, Caldwell, Idaho. Worked with City of Caldwell, Caldwell East Urban Renewal Agency and downtown stakeholders to create a Framework Master Plan for downtown Caldwell. Idaho. FIRST SECURITY BANK, Throughout Idaho. Worked with First Security Bank on the acquisition of property, construction of new buildings, renovation of existing buildings and consulting on all real estate needs throughout Idaho. ROYAL BLOCK MASTER PLAN, Boise, Idaho. Assembled land to develop a master plan for the Royal Block in downtown Boise for a future retail and residential project. Jeremy Malone is a Boise native, having attended Boise schools and Boise State University studying Business Administration. In 2007 Mr. Malone attained his Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from Building Owners & Managers Institute (BOMI) International. Additionally, he received his Construction Management Certificate from Boise State University in 2010. He has been with Oppenheimer Development Corporation (ODC) since 1991 serving in various capacities from Administrative Assistant to Director of Property Management to his current role as Vice President. Mr. Malone’s responsibilities include seeking and overseeing new development projects, overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, financial reporting, and over-sight of the Oppenheimer Development Corporation property portfolio and staff. ODC is currently developing a 26-story multifamily project in downtown Boise and a 227 acre greenfield development near Sun Valley. ODC’s property management portfolio is currently over 1,800,000 square feet and includes multiple downtown office buildings in Boise, Meridian, Idaho Falls and San Francisco, a retail shopping center in Boise, and three residential management associations in downtown Boise. Mr. Malone is active in the Boise community, both professionally and personally. He is currently the Governance Chair for ULI Idaho, a member of the University of Idaho’s College of Art & Architecture Advisory Council, advisor for First Tee of Idaho, and mentor for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Boise Young Professional group. He is the immediate past chair and prior Treasurer of ULI Idaho, former Board of Director for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, has served as President of BOMA Idaho for two-terms, President of the Downtown Boise Association and has served in various Director and Committee positions with BOMA Idaho and is a former Board of Director for BOMA International – Pacific Northwest Region. Mr. Malone has also served on various committees relating to commercial real estate and management for the City of Boise, Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC), Downtown Boise Association, and Boise Valley Economic Partnership. In addition, he has served in a variety of capacities for the Basque Center including President and has served on the Board of Directors for Jaialdi 2005 and Jaialdi 2010 and Co-Chairman for Jaialdi 2015 and Jaialdi 2020. Additionally, he previously served as a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk and Board of Director for First Tee Idaho.
