Kevin Mahon

Biography: Kevin K. Mahon, B. Com Chief Executive Officer Adera Group of Companies Kevin Mahon is the Chief Executive Officer of Vancouver-based Adera Group of Companies. Adera Development Corporation, one of British Columbia’s most respected real estate companies for 50 years (as of 2019), has built a world-class portfolio that includes the development of more than 10,000 homes and over 4 million square feet of commercial space. Adera has won more than 100 provincial, national and international awards, including being awarded Best Home Builder in Canada three times. Adera Capital Corporation is a private investment group with investments in telecommunications, engineered wood manufacturing, mortgage lending and property management. Kevin was born in 1958 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is a third-generation Vancouverite. Through his high school years, when he wasn’t playing rugby and skiing, he worked in the construction industry learning the business from the bottom up. Kevin has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, with a major in Urban Land Economics. He has served on a number of boards including the Young Presidents’ Organization, Urban Development Institute of BC, British Columbia Business Council, Pacific Salmon Foundation and UBC’s Sauder School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board. During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Kevin co-chaired the 2010 Business Forum, entertaining local and International business executives, with the Premier of British Columbia Gordon Campbell. Involved professionally in British Columbia real estate since 1983, Kevin became President of Adera in 1994 and has been the Chief Executive Officer since 2001, as well as Director of Adera Equities Ltd, Director of Adera Realty Corp. and CEO of Adera Capital Corp. which is involved in private equity acquisitions of companies.
