Kris Mikkelsen

Biography: Kris Mikkelsen, executive vice president, joined Walker & Dunlop InvestmentSales (WDIS) in April 2015 as part of the Engler Financial Groupacquisition. Mr. Mikkelsen is responsible for the origination and execution ofinvestment sales and equity capital raise for multifamily assets, with a focuson the Southeastern markets. Additionally, Mr. Mikkelsen serves as anofficer within WDIS, contributing to the strategy and implementation of thefirm’s active growth plan.Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Mikkelsen served as managing director and chiefoperating officer of Engler Financial Group, a prominent multifamilyinvestment advisory firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time atEngler, Mr. Mikkelsen was responsible for the origination and execution ofmultifamily investment sales and equity capital raise efforts across the firm’sfootprint, with a specific focus on Atlanta, Georgia and the Carolinas.
