Biography:
Marc McAndrew is executive vice president and co-head of PNC Real Estate, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group. In this role, McAndrew leads origination activities for public and private real estate developers as well as owners and investors nationwide. In addition, he oversees real estate banking, tax credit solutions, and risk compliance and quality assurance for PNC Real Estate. McAndrew joined PNC in 1989 as part of the Corporate Banking management development program. He has held numerous relationship management and capital markets positions including managing director of PNC Real Estate Capital Markets Group and head of the Real Estate Banking segment within PNC Real Estate, a position he held for 11 years. Prior to his current appointment, McAndrew was the chief business risk officer for PNC’s Corporate & Institutional Banking division. He was responsible for managing the C&IB’s strategic risk management programs including operational risk, capital management, credit quality assurance and compliance. McAndrew is active in multiple industry groups including the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Roundtable, Risk Management Association, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and International Council of Shopping Centers. McAndrew graduated from Mercyhurst University in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration. He earned his M.B.A. from The University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business in 1989.
