Michael Mueller

Biography: With 30 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality industry Michael has led the acquisition and/or development of more than $20B of hospitality assets and has been directly involved with the creation and growth of several hospitality companies and brands (Starwood Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels & Resorts, and NYLO Hotels). Michael was the visionary, founder and CEO of the fully integrated boutique hotel brand and operating company NYLO Hotels. Prior to NYLO Michael spent 12 years under the Starwood “umbrella” and played a key role in the launch, creation and growth of Starwood Hotels & Resorts into one of the largest hotel companies in the world and W Hotels into one of the leading boutique hotel brands in the world. Michael was born in Anchorage Alaska, raised in Michigan and currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his family. Hobbies include skiing, hiking and travel.
