Paola Moya
Biography: Paola Moya is a Colombian-American architect, entrepreneur, and creative leader whose work spans architecture, urban design, interiors, experiential modes, and graphic design. Co-founder of Moya Design Partners, she brings together design excellence and social impact in every project—ranging from landmark adaptive reuse projects like the Howard Theatre, Audi Field, and MGM National Harbor, to community focused initiatives such as Eastern Market Metro Park, affordable housing developments, and homelessness support through Art After Dark. A graduate of the Catholic University of America (BArch, MArch) with executive finance training from Wharton, Paola blends rigorous design thinking with strategic vision. Her achievements include recognition as a Power 100 Playmaker, Minority Business Leader of the Year, and winner of the 2022 Female Frontier Award. Her award-winning graduate thesis was showcased at the UN World Humanitarian Summit. Driven by a holistic, inclusive design philosophy, Paola builds global and interdisciplinary teams dedicated to creating equitable, impactful environments. Her work is both visionary and grounded in community.
