Biography:
Paul Milana, FAIA, is an architect and urban designer with over 30 years of experience providing the strategic vision and detailed design for a range of new mixed-use, transit-oriented, and infill communities and resort villages nationally and abroad. He has led the planning and design for Nexton, a new 5,000 acre mixed-use community near Charleston and the first gigabit community in South Carolina. He is also directing the master plan for Hollywood Park, a new mixed-use sports and entertainment district in Inglewood, California that will host the 2022 Super Bowl and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Among the award-winning developments Paul has directed, WaterColor, a resort town along the Florida Panhandle Coast, was the recipient of ULI's Award for Excellence. Other recipients of this award where Paul had a significant design role include Celebration, Florida and Daniel Island, South Carolina. Paul is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, where he currently serves on a Community Development Product Council and where he has led an annual course on Town Planning for the ULI Real Estate School.
