Marsh Senior Vice President Massachusetts Institute of Technology Investment Management Company One Broadway, 10th Floor, Suite 200 Cambridge, MA 02142 Telephone: 617-253-4304 Facsimile: 617-258-6675 E-mail: [email protected] Steve Marsh is a senior vice president for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Investment Management Company where he manages approximately $2.7 billion in real estate equity investments. His responsibilities extend to all aspects of the Institute’s direct investing program for commercial real estate, including acquisitions, development, dispositions, financing, and portfolio management activities. Steve is also a member of MIT’s Building Committee where he serves as adviser to the Institute on various real estate matters relating to MIT’s academic facility needs. Steve and his team are actively engaged in community building and strengthening the collaborations between MIT and industry in support of MIT’s innovation mission. Steve has demonstrated a longtime commitment to investing in the Institute’s host community, the City of Cambridge, in order to advance the vibrant innovation ecosystem in Kendall Square. Prior to joining MIT in January 2000, Steve was a vice president at Boston Children’s Hospital, a Harvard University affiliated teaching hospital, where he was responsible for strategic business planning, investment real estate, and corporate facilities management. His previous experience was at the international accounting and consulting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC), where he served as a certified public accountant. Steve is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a current Board member, past Chairman of the Board, and past President of the Massachusetts chapter of NAIOP. Steve received his Masters in Business Administration from Babson College and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont.
