Biography:
Tadd Miller is a cofounder and CEO of Milhaus, an urban infill multi-family/mixed use developer focused on the top submarkets of select secondary markets throughout the US. On the day-to-day, he is responsible for leading business development and corporate strategy across all divisions of Milhaus. In the real estate industry, Tadd has led the development, finance and construction of urban multi-family and mixed-use properties throughout the Midwest, Florida, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma totaling over $1.5 Billion. Tadd’s real estate experience originated in central Indiana and his vision and business ventures have since led to the renaissance of downtown living in Indianapolis. Tadd has been named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Who’s Who Behind the Scenes in Real Estate,” 2005; IBJ “40 under 40” Indianapolis 2008; Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning’s Award of Outstanding Achievement in 2018; and “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate,” 2010. Tadd is also a full member of the Urban Land Institute and was named in ULI "40 Under 40" in 2016. In June, 2019 he was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 Midwest Award. Tadd received his bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University, attended Harvard Business School for the Executive Education Series, then received his master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and most recently earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University. He is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, National Multifamily Housing Council and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He also serves on the Alumni Board of the IU McKinney School of Law. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie, and two kids, Ethan and Ellie, whether it’s touring cities on their motorcycles or flying throughout the Midwest and overseas.
