Shinsuke Nuriya

Biography: Shin is an experienced investment professional with entrepreneurial spirit, believing in the power of innovation. Shin has held C-Suite roles at Proptech and Fintech start-ups based in Japan and Estonia. Before his entrepreneurial start-up journey, Shin worked at Blackstone, where he was involved in the acquisition and asset management of various projects from single-asset to privatization. His roles have been extended in various fields - Chief Investment Officer at SYLA Technologies, a Japanese Proptech and residential developer listed on NASDAQ (NASDAQ:SYT), External Director at TRUNK, a luxury lifestyle boutique hotel operator, and External Auditor at souco, a Japanese logistics tech company that operates a warehouse space matching platform. Shin holds a BA in Business and Commerce from Keio University and an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. He is a council member of ULI Japan and the former Chair of ULI Japan’s Young Leaders Group.
