Benjamin Pleat

Biography: Ben Pleat is CEO and Founder of Cobu (formerly known as Doorbell Communities), a real estate technology and services company that empowers multifamily owners to boost property performance by offering their residents a fun, differentiated apartment experience driven by genuine community. As a New York native, Ben has seen first hand just how impactful a sense of community can be toward bringing a sense of belonging to a physical space. Ben is constantly fascinated by innovation in the built world, and has explored the nexus of real estate and technology while with companies like WeWork, Goldman Sachs, and Israel Cleantech Ventures. Ben is based in Downtown Boston with his team.
