Malloy Peterson
Biography: Malloy Peterson is the Senior Vice President of Development and a founding executive at Selig Development Company. In this position, she led the development of The Works, Selig’s award-winning, 80-acre adaptive mixed-use project on Atlanta’s Upper Westside, played a major role on other recent landmark Selig developments, including 1105 West Peachtree, 40 West 12th, and Heartwood Powder Springs. Malloy joined Selig in 2017 after 13 years with Carter, where she oversaw significant impactful public-private partnership developments, such as Summerhill (at the former Turner Field), The Banks in Cincinnati, Ohio, and City Springs in Sandy Springs. Malloy was honored as a “Woman of Influence” in 2020 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, a member of the inaugural class of “The Leaders” by ULI Atlanta, an “Atlanta Power Women in Commercial Real Estate” by Bisnow and a “Woman to Watch” by Real Estate Forum. As a resident of the City of Atlanta, she also gives her time and expertise towards initiatives that promote smart growth that benefits the local community. For the City of Atlanta, Malloy chaired the Atlanta Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee and served as vice-chair for its Elected Officials Compensation Committee. She also serves on several boards, including the Midtown Improvement District, and The Upper Westside CID board.
