Brad Rable
Biography: Brad formed BISON Partners in 2021 to acquire value-add retail assets and ground up retail development sites in the southwestern US. BISON has offices in Manhattan Beach and Irvine, California. Prior to forming BISON, Brad was SVP, Director of Investments with Paragon Commercial Group (2016-2021) where Brad was responsible for acquisitions and development execution throughout southern California. Paragon, through the Canyon Catalyst Fund, has a joint venture with the California Public Employee’s Retirement System (CalPERS) to deploy $1 billion of equity into urban markets throughout California. Prior to Paragon (2013-2016), Brad was responsible for the execution of all retail investment sale transactions with CBRE, Inc.’s National Retail Investment Group-West in Newport Beach, CA. During Brad’s tenure at CBRE the NRIG-West team became CBRE’s top retail investment team in the country, transacting more than 120 properties for nearly $3 billion in value. Brad spent seven years (2006-2013) at Evergreen, a private, fully diversified real estate development company specializing in retail and multi-family development. Brad’s responsibilities included underwriting and investment analysis, sourcing debt and equity for new development projects and leading retail development projects from due diligence through underwriting, entitlements, design, and construction. Prior to Evergreen, Brad was Manager at the Development Planning & Financing Group, Inc. (DPFG), a real estate finance consulting firm, where he led the implementation of $150M of land secured financing. Brad is a US Green Building Council certified LEED Accredited Professional and active member of both ICSC and the Urban Land Institute (Small Scale Development Council - Black).
