James Sellen

Biography: Principle in the firm of MSCW. MSCW is a 74 person, multi-discipline urban planning and design firm, incorporated in 1977, with offices in Orlando, Florida. I am responsible for directing all planning and design work efforts of our firm. Our clients include both the public and private sectors of the economy. We have specialized in the preparation and implementation of long term build out visions for a number of large governmental jurisdictions in the State of Florida including Orange County, Taylor County, St. Johns County and the City's of Jacksonville and Winter Park. I have also been in charge of master planning for a number of highlay amenitized, large scale,master planned communities including the new urban communities of Baldwin Park and Avalon Park in Orlando Florida. I have a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Miami, Florida. I am a member of the following Organizations: ULI AmericanPlanning Association Board Member, Council for Sustainable Florida Florida Planning and Zoning Association I ave been the District Council Chair for the Orlando District Council for two separate terms and am currently serving on our District Council Executive Committee.
