Jeffrey Simon

Biography: I am currently a Senior Principal at Stantec, a global design firm.  Working out of their Boston office, I am in the real estate group and primarily work with developers on large projects.  I was previously Massachusetts  Asst Secretary of Transportation for Real Estate and Asset Development.  As such, I oversaw the development of all MassDOT and MBTA property in Massachusetts.  I was also formerly the President of Actus Lend Lease (now Lend Lease Communities), a large multi-family developer of master-planned communities.  I have headed my own small real estate development company, headed the redevelopment of Ft Devens in Massachusetts, been the CEO of the Bermuda Land Development Company, been the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Government Land Bank, and several other positions in a real estate career that spans over 35 years.  I also ran Massachusetts' program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for Governor Deval Patrick
