Kate Seabaugh

Biography:
Kate Seabaugh serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at ElmTree Funds. In this role, Ms. Seabaugh is responsible for building mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with investment grade corporate tenants through understanding their strategic expansion needs. Given ElmTree’s unique strategy and footprint in the marketplace, Ms. Seabaugh’s tenant focus is an integral component of the firm’s programmatic acquisition of build-to-suit net lease industrial real estate investments throughout the United States. Prior to joining ElmTree, Ms. Seabaugh served as a Regional Vice President at Link Logistics (a Blackstone portfolio company) in a Regional Chief Financial Officer capacity, overseeing the performance of 140 million SF of industrial assets across 14 major West Coast markets. In this role, she managed the region’s quarterly budget process, monthly financial reporting, and general portfolio management functions of the region’s nearly 1,000 assets. Additionally, while in this role, Ms. Seabaugh worked alongside the leasing and investment teams in the analysis of key lease decisions and special projects related to major portfolio acquisitions, including Link’s $7.6 billion acquisition of PS Business Parks in 2022. Prior to Link Logistics, Ms. Seabaugh began her real estate career as a housing market research manager at John Burns Real Estate Consulting (JBREC). In this role, she reported on national housing market trends, and provided economic and analytical support to large public homebuilders, masterplan community developers, private equity funds, and single-family rental operators. Prior to JBREC, Ms. Seabaugh spent four years working in securities and investment management roles at PIMCO and Wells Fargo Bank (NYSE: WFC). Ms. Seabaugh holds a Master of Financial Engineering degree from Cornell University’s School of Operation Research and Information Engineering. Ms. Seabaugh graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and was a full scholarship member of the Division I Volleyball Team.
