Biography:
Michael Spies is an investor and advisor in real estate and related technologies through Fuse Strategies, LLC and as a Venture Partner with Navitas Capital, a venture capital firm focused on technology in the real estate and construction industries. Michael was a senior executive with Tishman Speyer for 30 years, the majority of which were spent internationally establishing and leading its businesses in Europe and India. He also chaired the firm’s Investment Committee and led its Innovation efforts globally. In his early career, Michael served in New York City government, as Executive Vice President of the Public Development Corporation. Michael serves on the Boards of Directors of TechnoServe, a global non-profit organization reducing poverty in the developing world; Equiem, a global leader in commercial tenant experience technology; Ingenious, a construction software platform; Kettle OS, a flexible workforce management solution; Biome, a modular green wall and air filtration system; and Mokki, a circular economy logistics platform. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Taubman Center in State and Local Government at the Harvard Kennedy School; and is engaged as an advisor with several other early stage enterprises. He is a past Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and was Chair of the Jury awarding its highest honor, the Urban Land Institute Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government with a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning. Member Directory  Arrow
