Michael Straneva

Biography: Michael Straneva is the US Transaction Real Estate Leader and is a Partner in the Phoenix office of Ernst & Young LLP. He focuses on real estate appraisal and valuation, transaction due diligence, portfolio analyses and structuring, project feasibility and market analyses. Straneva has over 30 years of experience in real estate valuation and consulting. Prior to specializing in real estate advisory services, Straneva spent 12 years in the firm’s real estate audit practice. Straneva holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Pennsylvania State University, State College PA. Straneva is a Certified Public Accountant, State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor (CIRA) and is certified in financial forensics by the AICPA. Straneva also serves as the lead valuation expert at EY.
