Robert Schiffer

Biography: Robert Schiffer Bio Robert Schiffer is an Executive Vice President of Development at SL Green Realty Corp., New York City's largest commercial landlord. Mr. Schiffer, who has been with SL Green for 14 years, co-manages SL Green’s team of investment professionals. Mr. Schiffer is responsible for the development of One Vanderbilt, SL Green's 1.6 million square foot office tower, One Madison Avenue and other new development opportunities. He is also responsible for the origination of new investments for SL Green's structured finance and residential platforms as well as other corporate initiatives. Mr. Schiffer served as a David Rockefeller fellow in 2015. Mr. Schiffer holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. Mr. Schiffer is an active participant in the Columbia University MSRED Mentorship Program, teaches a MSRED seminar entitled “Careers in Real Estate”, and is the 2004 Alumni Class Representative. Mr. Schiffer is an advisory board member to Spuni (www.spuni.com) and serves on the board of Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT). Mr. Schiffer has two daughters, Remi (9) and Lola (7).
