Biography:
As senior director of client operations at Black Bear, Victoria collaborates closely with clients to help deliver successful energy projects. Victoria is the main point of contact for her clients, and focuses mainly on identifying opportunities, running competitive procurement to find the best partners, and recommending projects that will provide added value to her clients’ portfolios. Victoria’s clients include some of the largest and most forward-thinking REITs in the US, and are leading owners of industrial, office, mixed-use, retail and multifamily assets. She has helped her clients install or contract (scheduled to be built in the next 12 months) 60 MW of solar and 3 MWh of storage projects. Victoria has been working on business solutions to climate change for over a decade. She joined Black Bear from the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), where she worked with leading Fortune 500 companies and renewable energy developers on offsite utility-scale renewables within the Business Renewables Center (BRC). Before RMI, Victoria worked for Richard Branson’s climate change NGO the Carbon War Room. Victoria earned her MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and her BA in History from Georgetown University. Victoria is based in Basalt, Colorado and in her free time, enjoys skiing powder, ski-touring, and exploring the Roaring Fork Valley’s mountains, rivers and lakes with her dog.
