Lynn Thurber

Biography: Lynn Thurber LaSalle Investment Management Chicago, IL Lynn Thurber is the past Chairman and CEO of LaSalle Investment Management (1994-2017), a global real estate money management firm with approximately $60 billion of assets under management, investing in private real estate as well as publicly-traded real estate companies on behalf of institutional and individual investors. Ms. Thurber is Chairman of the board of JLL Income Property Trust, an SEC registered, non-traded REIT. Ms. Thurber is a Trustee of Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE:AKR). Ms Thurber was also a member of the Boards of Duke Realty Corporation (NYSE:DRE) from 2008 to 2022 and of Investa Property Group, an Australian based real estate owner, developer and fund manager from 2008 to 2016. Prior to Alex Brown, Kleinwort Benson (ABKB) Realty Advisors’ merger with LaSalle Partners in 1994, Ms. Thurber was Chief Executive Officer of that company. Before joining ABKB in 1992, she was a Principal at Morgan Stanley & Co. Ms. Thurber earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. from Wellesley College. Ms. Thurber is a Trustee of ULI-Urban Land Institute and was Global Chairman from July, 2013-June 2015. Ms. Thurber is a past member and past Chair of ULI's Center for Sustainability and Economic Performance Advisory Board. She formerly chaired the Pension Real Estate Association, and is also a past member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate and the Board of the Toigo Foundation.
