Biography:
Biography: My research examines climate risk governance within the real estate, insurance, and finance sectors, and in relation to specific places. I am currently leading a European Commission-funded study of real estate climate risk governance in (1) financial markets and (2) sea level rise vulnerable cities, including Miami, Rotterdam, and Singapore. Past research focuses on the marketization of real estate climate risk through (re)insurance products. I am an urban planner (BA, MSc) and economic geographer (PhD) by training, and hold degrees from UC Berkeley, the London School of Economics, and the University of Leeds.
