Richard Vogel

Biography:
Mr. Vogel joined Mast Capital in 2023 and serves as its Chief Development Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, development, operation, management, debt and equity capitalization, stabilization and realization of Mast Capital’s real estate development projects. He has a proven success record in establishing vision, defining strategy, and executing large and complex development projects in both developed and emerging markets. Recognized globally for his disciplined approach to real estate investment, he is a comprehensive strategist with experience managing real estate development, investment and operations in the US, Asia and the Middle East. Throughout Mr. Vogel’s career, he contributed to the development of more than 17 million square feet of office, residential, hotel, retail and sports/entertainment properties. Prior to joining Mast, Mr. Vogel was Executive Vice President with the Related Companies where he led the company’s 3.2 million square foot Grand Avenue redevelopment project in downtown Los Angeles. In August, 2022, Mr. Vogel joined Related Southeast’s leadership team to lead the company’s business growth in South Florida. Prior to joining Related, Mr. Vogel was President of Silverstein Asia, a subsidiary of Silverstein Properties out of New York City, Senior Vice President and General Manager with Ivanhoe Cambridge and Vice President with Hines. Mr. Vogel started his career as a Project Engineer and Construction Superintendent for Perini Corporation. Mr. Vogel received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and completed post graduate studies in economics and finance at the University of California, Berkeley.
