Allan Winn

Biography: Allan R. Winn- #145208 Managing Partner Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP (DC) March 3, 2001 Allan R. Winn is the Managing Partner of the D.C. office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, one of the nation's one hundred largest law firms. He is the head of the D.C. Real Estate Practice Group and partner in charge of the firm's Housing Group. Mr. Winn's law practice has emphasized multifamily housing matters for over twenty-five. He has represented developers and lenders in transactions that involved essentially all of the national multifamily finance programs of HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, GNMA, conduits and traditional financing sources. He represents a number of the nation's best-known commercial and multifamily lenders and has frequently lectured and written in his areas of expertise. Mr. Winn is a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the American Bar Association. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester (A.B. 1966) and Cornell University (J.D. 1969). He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the ULI Washington District Council.
