Greg Weaver

Biography:
As an executive vice president of Catellus Development Corporation, Greg Weaver is responsible for the company’s new project pursuits as well as redevelopment efforts of public-private partnership developments throughout the United States. He currently oversees: • The Mueller airport redevelopment, a 700-acre mixed-use development located just three miles from downtown Austin, Texas; • Novus Innovation Corridor at ASU, the 330-acre redevelopment of the Arizona State University Athletic Facilities District adjacent to Tempe Town Lake; • Prairie Glen Corporate Center, a 92-acre corporate campus that is part of the 1,200-acre Glenview Naval Air Station redevelopment in Glenview, Illinois; • Willow Grove Naval Air-Station, an 862-acre redevelopment in Horsham, Pennsylvania; and Greg joined Catellus in 2000 as director of development. He was introduced to mixed-use redevelopment with the development of commercial deals for the Stapleton Business Center, part of the Stapleton airport redevelopment in Denver, Colorado. During Prologis’s ownership of Catellus from 2006 to 2011, Greg was a managing director and president of Catellus Development Group. Greg began his career in 1992 with CBRE before joining Cornish & Carey as a founding partner in its Oakland/East Bay office. He earned a degree in business from the University of San Diego. Beyond his responsibilities at Catellus and on behalf of the company’s public partners, Greg is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI), both at a local and national level.
