Kavindi Wickremage

Biography: Kavindi is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating and managing investments in Bain Capital Real Estate’s investment vehicles. Kavindi joined Bain Capital in February 2018 in conjunction with the spin out of Harvard Management Company’s (“HMC”) Real Estate team. Prior to joining HMC, Kavindi was a Project Manager in the Boston office of Bovis Lend Lease. She worked on the development of Ritz Carlton Towers, a large scale mixed use project in downtown Boston and on the development of a complex biotech asset, the Merck Pharmaceuticals Research and Development facility in the Fenway, Boston. Kavindi received a BS in Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering from Drexel University (Magna Cum Laude). She holds an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, is a board member of the Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School and a member of the Governing Board of Trustees of ULI.
