Richard Warnick is the Managing Director and co-Chairman of CHMWarnick (www.CHMWarnick.com), the leading provider of hospitality asset management and strategic advisory services to the hospitality industry. The company currently asset manages 70 hotels comprising over 29,000 rooms. CHMWarnick’s advisory services cover virtually every aspect of the hospitality industry and all phases of a hotel’s lifecycle, including ground up development and repositioning. The company is currently providing development advisory services for hotel and resort projects valued at over $2 billion. CHMWarnick has offices in Boston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Minneapolis, New York, and San Francisco. Prior to forming CHMWarnick, Rich founded and was President of Warnick + Company, a leading provider of advisory and asset management services to many of the world’s leading hotel and real estate companies, private investors, financial institutions, and government agencies. Rich has been involved in virtually every aspect of the hotel industry including operations, development, finance, brokerage, and brand and business strategy. Before forming Warnick + Company, Rich was a principal with Laventhol & Horwath (L&H), an international accounting firm known for its expertise in the hospitality and real estate industries. Prior to L&H, he was a development executive for two international hotel companies. He began his career in hotel operations and held senior level management positions with several noted hotel management companies. Rich is a partner and member of the board in Montage Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel company founded in 2002. He serves as a strategic advisor to the company and has represented Montage in acquisitions and development deals worth more than $2.5 billion in total asset value.
