F. Karl Zavitkovsky
Biography: Karl Zavitkovsky is retired and spends the bulk of his time working with Dallas-area non-profits. Karl was a longtime senior real estate banking executive with Citicorp and Bank of America, with many years of experience in both the U.S. and Latin America. He also served as the Economic Development Director for the City of Dallas for more than a decade. A native of New Jersey, earned a B.A. in Economics from the College of William and Mary and an M.S. from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He was a Captain in the Marine Corps and also served as a Peace Corps Regional Director in Bolivia. Karl is a ULI Governor and Trustee and his philanthropic activity includes past chairmanships of The Real Estate Council (TREC), the Dallas Affordable Housing Coalition and the Dallas Ballet, as well as current local advisory board service with ULIDFW, The Trust for Public Land, the Catholic Housing Initiative and the Ferguson Road Initiative.
