Greenprint Performance Report, Volume 11
Report Summary:
Volume 11 of the Greenprint Performance Report continues to showcase improvements in building performance across the Greenprint portfolio, providing a benchmark for leadership on sustainability in the real estate industry. With an impressive 3.1% reduction in carbon emissions and over $50 million invested in more than 6,000 sustainability projects completed in 2019, the portfolio remains on track to achieve a 50% reduction in carbon emissions from 2009 to 2030. This year’s report focuses on improvements made in sustainability across emissions, energy, water, and waste, along with several outstanding projects and best practices from Greenprint members in 2019, including:
1.     Kilroy Realty’s scaleup of solar assets
2.     Hudson Pacific Properties’ solar façade at EPIC in LA
3.     LBA Realty’s campus-wide LED retrofit at Park Place
4.     AXA Investment Managers’ temperature sensors in Finland multifamily developments
5.     CenterPoint’s water-saving irrigation and landscaping features
6.     CDL’s portfolio-wide water reduction analyses
7.     Parkway’s portfolio waste reduction strategy
8.     LaSalle Investment Management’s occupant engagement on waste diversion
