2022 Resilience Summit Event Summary and Key Findings
The Urban Land Institute's third annual Resilience Summit, held virtually in January of 2022, brought over 350 leaders in the field of real estate and resilience together to share practicable solutions to protect communities and investments from future climate risks.
The overarching theme of this year's event was driving progress on climate resilience through adaptation and mitigation, and over the span of three days, attendees both learned about and engaged in discourse on this action-oriented theme and around three topic areas, namely Frontiers of Law and Policy, Design and Planning, and Risk and Assessment.
This report summarizes summit sessions and connects readers to key content surrounding the event. The report is divided into three main sections:
- Overview of the 2022 Resilience Summit. Summarizes the impetus for the Resilience Summit and outlines performance metrics for the 2022 event
- Session Summaries. Reviews the content and resources presented in each of the 18 event sessions
