The new site includes multiple residential units, a daycare, retail stores and public spaces. Acknowledging the social tensions that come with gentrification, Woodwards made sure to effectively and carefully interface with community. It made sure to meet halfway by providing social gathering events and resources for the community to ensure transparency and inclusivity during the transformation. ULI Case Studies showcase innovative approaches and best practices in real estate and urban development.
