ULI New York Resilient Land Use Cohort Technical Assistance Panel Presentation
Resilience in NYCHA’s Marlboro Houses
As part of the New York City Housing Authority’s broader climate action efforts, NYCHA requested a ULI virtual Technical Assistance Panel (vTAP) in February 2021 to examine how one of its developments, Marlboro Houses in Gravesend, Brooklyn, could be made more resilient to climate-induced hazards. The panel chair, Janice Barnes (Climate Adaptation Partners) and panelists Ryan Cassidy (RiseBoro Community Partnership), Saptal Kaur, Cecilia Kushner (NYC Economic Development Corporation), Matthew Kwatinetz (QBL Partners), Amy Macdonald (Thornton Tomasetti), and Pete Munoz (Biohabitats) present the panel’s recommendations at the end of the vTAP on February 25, 2021.
