Webinar Summary: Andrew Tong, Senior Vice President, Investments at Concert Properties will share how Concert is building and securing financing for its affordable housing projects in Vancouver and Toronto. Robyn Adamache, Client Relations, Multi-Unit Housing Solutions (BC), Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation will guide us through the CMHC’s Rental Construction Financing Initiative (RCFi), the National Housing Co-Investment Fund (NHCF), and Mortgage Loan Insurance for affordable housing (MLI Flex). In the second half of the webinar, the pair has a discussion on CMHC’s financing options, the common submission pitfalls, how to prepare as a borrower and what key attributes matter to CMHC as a lender and insurer.
