Olympic Games Paris 2024: ”Legacy,” An Accelerator of Urban Regeneration ?

At the dawn of a paradigm shift in which the real estate industry must focus on the challenges of tomorrow, amplified by the COVID-19 health crisis, and the fight against climate change at the heart of the concerns for all generations, sport is a vector of social cohesion for the city...in response to this context, we have chosen to organize our 2020 Annual Conference around the Olympic and Paralympic Games and how to build a "legacy" for the Paris event in 2024 (the centennial games for Paris). Faced with these challenges, isn't building this "legacy" one of the best examples of accelerating urban regeneration and a transition towards the "City of Tomorrow?" Beyond being a unique showcase for France, this global event is an exceptional opportunity to project ourselves into the future. We will discuss the keys to success that need to be put in place today to prepare for tomorrow's legacy.
