Mathew Avrhami

Biografía: Bio: As President and CEO of Rockridge Properties and Investments, Mathew Avrhami, is responsible for launching a regional development firm spanning the western sunbelt states while overseeing and executing development of Build-To-Rent Communities through existing sites, JV investments, and strategic acquisitions. Mr. Avrhami’s experience includes commercial real estate private equity and institutional residential rental experience with the largest SFR investment funds, covering thousands of rental homes and over 38 multifamily projects. Active in the community, Mathew Avrhami is an associate faculty at Arizona State University’s WP Carey School of Business, teaching real estate investments. Mr. Avrhami is a Member of the Urban Land Institute Multifamily Gold Product Council and frequent national speaker on Build-To-Rent. Mr. Avrhami was previously Vice President at Harvard Investments where he launched development of a $1 billion as-complete value portfolio of Build-To-Rent Communities, amounting to over 2,000 units. Mr. Avrhami remains invested in several Harvard projects. Previously Mr. Avrhami was VP of Acquisitions at the 3rd largest single family REIT, Progress Residential, with over 80k homes, where he was responsible for developing new acquisition channels including Build to Rent and single family rental portfolios. Mr. Avrhami opened the Phoenix office for Rialto Capital in 2010, where as a Vice President covering the mountain region states he was responsible for development and value-add repositioning on a range of assets including residential rentals, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Phoenix office, acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of direct and JV real estate investments throughout the western mountain states. Mathew holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s of Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.
