Eric Hade

Biografía: December 2018 Eric J. Hade is the Chief Development Officer of Waypoint Residential. He has 19 years of experience in the real estate industry and is involved in all aspects of the Company’s development activities, including site selection, property due diligence, contract negotiation, GC selection, negotiation of interim and long-term financing, construction management and lease-up operations. Prior to joining Waypoint in 2012, Mr. Hade held a variety of positions with Lane Company, including General Counsel, EVP - Operations and Chief Investment Officer between 2005 and 2012. Prior to working at Lane, Mr. Hade was associated with the law firm of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, where he practiced in the areas of commercial real estate and structured finance representing a variety of real estate-related clients, including institutional investors, private equity funds, developers, and lenders in connection with transactions involving the financing, acquisition, development and disposition of multifamily apartment complexes, resorts, hotels, conference centers, regional retail power centers and retail shopping centers. He received a B.A., with honors, from Colgate University, as well as an M.B.A. and a J.D. and from Emory University where he was an editor of the Emory Law Journal. He has also been a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the National Multi Housing Council, the Pension Real Estate Association, the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association, and the International Counsel of Shopping Centers.
