Jeremy Katz

Biografía: Mr. Katz joined HQ Capital Real Estate in 2005 and currently serves as Co-Head of Real Estate. In that capacity, he is responsible for planning and implementing HQCRE’s short- and long-term plans as an organization, as well as managing the day-to-day administration of the business. Mr. Katz has an extensive equity and debt background closing real estate loans, acquisitions, and joint ventures. He has sourced, underwritten, negotiated, and closed approximately 40 investments totaling over $2 billion in asset value over his career. Mr. Katz began his career at Wells Fargo, underwriting commercial real estate loans and credit lines for large national REITs. Since that time, he has worked on a variety of transactions on both the residential and commercial sides of HQCRE’s business including: acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and operating company purchases. Mr. Katz also serves on the Board of Directors for Foundry Commercial, a Southeast-based real estate services, development, and investment company. He is also an active member of ULI’s Multifamily Bronze Council and YPO. Mr. Katz holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
