Troy Manson

Biografía: Troy Manson is Principal of University Partners and is primarily responsible for investment activities and strategic planning and execution for the company. Manson has more than 16 years of experience in student housing and has closed more than $3.5 billion in real estate transactions. Prior to co-founding University Partners, he served as Chief Investment Officer of University House Communities where he oversaw all investment activities and assisted in the sale of the company in 2016. He previously spent seven years in various roles at UHC and its predecessor company, Inland American Communities Group, Inc. There, he was heavily involved with financial transactions and investments, and eventually became Managing Director of Operations. Prior to joining University House Communities, Manson was managing director and co-head of the national student housing investment sales practice at HFF, a leading provider of commercial real estate and capital markets services. Manson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a master’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College.
