Alan Patton

Biografía: Alan Patton, is President of The Morgan Group, Inc. Alan’s responsibilities include day-to-day management of the company including development and construction. Under Alan’s leadership, Morgan has developed over 16,000 units at a cost of more than $2.0 billion. Alan was a Senior Managing Director and started the national multifamily platform at Hines. He also helped create Urban Oaks Builders, a general contractor, to handle construction related activities for the multifamily platform at Hines. Alan was the managing director of the Chase Bank of Texas Realty Advisory Group. During his eight-year tenure, he developed and managed Chase’s Real Estate Mezzanine Financing product, worked in the Real Estate Workout/Restructuring Group, and the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group. He began his career at Miner-Dederick, a Houston-based high rise contractor, where he was a project manager, estimator, and field superintendent. Alan is on the board of directors of Monogram Residential Trust and the National Multi Housing Council. He is also a council member of the Urban Land Institute. He has an MBA and BS Finance from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
